Oli was with us within an hour of our phone call on a Bank Holiday Monday. Over the weekend, our lovely dog, Phene, had become reluctant to move, her breathing was noisy and she had gone off her food. She was almost 12, a good age for a Flatcoat, and we knew it was time to let her go. Oli was calm and gentle – no hurry, no fuss – and after sedation he gave her the final drug and she peacefully slipped away. He had arranged for the Pet Crematorium to come and collect her, and they were waiting in the drive. Again, no hurry and no fuss. The saddest time, but we couldn’t have asked for better care.
