Rosie H.

Some months ago, I had to accept that my 18 long years with cat Dixie, was coming to an end. She had been with me since she was 7 weeks old as her mother rejected her. I had her for over half of my life, and I had to be there for her in the end. She was terrified of the vets, and I didn’t want her last moments to be fear. I sadly forgot the name of the vet who came and helped us say goodbye, that whole week was a blur.

What I do remember was he was incredibly kind and patient, he made sure me and Dixie were comfortable. I got to say goodbye to her in my arms, where she spent the majority of her life.

It was a horrible time but this service truly made things easier, it was a small mercy in a very dark time, and I couldn’t be more thankful
